Cigarette Pack Books

After my recent interview with Pascalle Burton where we talked about her new zine The Lavender Room, which comes packaged in a match box, complete with match, I have been thinking alot about new ways of packaging books.

Tank Books have obviously also been giving this some thought, as they have just released a series of cigarette pack books. That’s right, each book comes in its very own flip-top carton with silver foil wrapping and is sealed in cellophane. The series features classic titles such as Kafka’s ‘Metamorphosis’ and ‘In the Penal Colony’, Conrad’s ‘Heart of Darkness’ and Hemmingway’s ‘The Undefeated’ and ‘The Snows of Kilimanjaro’.

Now you can flip the top of your cigarette pack and tap out a classic with no nasty health risks!
