My poem, A Study of the River is in the Review section of today’s Weekend Australian alongside a brilliant poem by Carol Jenkins, In loco parentis. I wrote this poem in response to the mangrove lined majesty of Ningi Creek, where it opens into the Pumicestone Passage.
So, if you are somewhere in this sprawling country of ours, why not slip down to your local newsagent / supermarket / shop that sells the paper and pick up a copy (maybe you can tell me why there is a picture of Jack Nicholson circa One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest nestled between our poems). Sadly, if you are overseas, the poems are not featured in the online version of the paper… but drop me a comment if you would like to read the poem and a private email can be arranged…
