Gibberbird: of birds and other strings, is a brand-spanking chapbook release curated by QLD Poetry Festival and Cordite, that takes flight from the lines of a.rawlings’ epic genus poem, Gibberbird. From rawlings’ poem, ten new poems have spread their wings ; each charting its own path through the poetic wilderness.
Gibberbird features new work by Paul Summers, Julie Beveridge, Jonathan Hadwen, Vanessa Page, Michelle Dicinoski, Nicholas Powell, Zenobia Frost, Ella Jeffery, David Stavanger & this Lost Shark. A (super) limited edition print issue will also be available at the QLD Poetry Festival bookshop, so if anybody would like to get their hands on one of them and can’t make it to the festival, leave a comment and we can work something out!
