Friday Night Lights Project: Week #30

Last night Winter flexed its muscle and the moon was in full glory… and to celebrate its roundness, Cindy created a neon mandala; while Ashley watched amateur ballet and I pulled the tail of a massive week.

The lights, the lights… look into the lights.

The amateur ballet put imprecise
in front of me like a soft machine

evening is still
as winter closes doors

magpies’ chortle up
the first stars

hearts full of fears
they call out for love

I could call back
shine a light in the window

but the mind is shot
so weary I feel without name
