Friday Night Lights Project: Week #28

The second half of the year is now gathering momentum and there is much to look forward to! The last weekend in August when the three of us are all in the same city, at the same event, is bound to be explosive! But let’s look at last night… Ashley was fevered with gymnastic syntax, Cindy was sparkling and this Lost Shark was all eyes.

I am not thinking about the Olympics
and bodies that float, even
on a flat screen, busy instead
with your syntax which though unphysical is so
gymnastic in its most abstract
talk of love
your open mouth makes orderly arrangements

the whole body
becomes a lens

look at me with witch eyes

the fake play touching
& complete curiosity
